To help you choose:

Week 1 & 2

Art and craft.  Get crafty with lots of things such as lovely coloured tissue paper, glitter, glue, card and textiles.   Alternatively, let your imagination run free and turn ‘junk’ into your own scene: ruin or battle, Jurassic, space station or underwater base.

Budding Picassos can get creative with paint, textures, colours and lots of art materials to produce something that they will be proud of.  All with expert guidance from a very arty, crafty tutor.

Football skills as taught by a seasoned coach.  Train, learn the game and ‘match your skills’ in a 7-a- side.  Trainers (not boots) and shin pads essential.

Sweets and biscuits This very popular activity now open to over 7’s.  New ‘no bake sweet and cake’ recipes and some old favourites.   Also, you can make gift boxes to present your treats in.   Bring an apron and plastic box every day.

Team games On the sports field or inside if weather is inclement. Play games with bats, balls, light plastic hockey sticks, hoops and lots more.  Loads of fun and lots of icebreaking games such as ‘Duck, Duck, Goose’.

KNex  Very popular and fast building construction material.  From small models to large motorised models.  Build it, race it, experiment in your own designs.  Lots of instruction manuals to help on hand.

Drama  Lots of drama games to break the ice.  Come and find your voice in this popular activity.

Clay modelling  Get stuck in and build and paint.  Lots of air drying clay for you to make something you can keep forever.  (Just don’t leave it in the rain!). Bring an apron.

Funky Dance  Fancy being in a  Boy Band? Are you a Hairbrush Diva?  Would you have made it on Fame Academy?  An experienced dance teacher will help you try out your steps.  Join her for some Fun and Funky Dancing. Wear suitable trainers/dance shoes.

Judo.  Try this taster session -  TSUNAMI judo.  If you have ever wondered if you would like to take up Judo, now is your chance to find out. Loose clothing without zips, buckles and buttons is essential.
